How do you work out employeers prsi on an employee? If someone is offered 20K a year and this figure is said to include employeers prsi how you do work out what the employee will get?

I reckon it would be AL reate of contribution and the gross amount, prior to employer's PRSI deduction would be 22,149.68 p.a. to give nett of 20,000. This does not count employee's tax or PRSI.

Very unusual way to offer someone a job, to include employers prsi. I take it that you mean to include employers PRSI.

If it is as you state employers PRSI
I calc as follows

20,000 incl 10.75% So before 10.75 was included the Gross figure was 18,058.69 (20,000/110.75*100) PRSI 10.75 = 1941.31

Employee Calc as follows

Gross pay per week 347.28 (18058.69/52)
* PRSI ....................8.81
Net Wage..............338.47

* PRSI 347.28-127 = 220.28 * 4% = 8.81
