Emirgration - Where are people going

I here a lot about emirgration because of the down turn, but do people know of a lot of people (Irish people/famalies) that have emirgarted and where have they gone.

Does anyone think its a bit early to be going into the whole 'lament' phase. Its only been about 12 to 18 months of downturn, another 12 may see improvement, London is no longer such a cost/ordeal to get to, most are young and some would love to be off abroad anyway (in the boom plenty went travelling as well).

Not underplaying that its bad when even 1 is "forced" to go, but are we already in love with recession, hardship, misery and misfortune - strike up the sean nos lament for our lost generation .... I'd give it a chance yet.
 
I have to say that it looks as if "The West" is fast becoming a third world country. Reading the supplement in Saturday's Indo on Youghal it really made depressing reading. Jobs going to Poland, Slovakia, Indonesia etc
 
OP any chance of using spell check on your posts.

Emirgration sounds like a nice country to visit
