Emergency Tax Question

From 1st January I am being taken on as a PAYE employee by the company I have been working for the last 3 years on a Self-Employed basis. I still don't have a Payroll number from them and I suspect I may too late to claim my tax credit in time for my first pay cheque from them. Currently my husband has all my tax credits allocated to him as he earns significantly more than I do. The job I am taking on is only part-time earning €14,000 per annum. I have been told I will be emergency taxed in January, does anyone know how I can work out roughly what I will be paid, obviously coming straight after christmas I could have done without this hassle but at least if I have an idea of how short I will be next month I can reorganise my finances in time.
