Our builder set aside PC sums of 5.7k for electrics.
I got the electrician to do the following extras,
run electricity supply out from house to gate pillars (45metres from
porch to pillar), intercom cable, (separate electricity for pillar lights
and electric gates). Electricity from house to garage (20 metres),
wire the house with cat5e to most rooms and structured to a home
run in the downstairs study. Wired for alarm (doors, pir motion detector
points but not windows). Some additional outdoor locations for
security/exterior house lighting. chase wires for speakers 4 wall mounted
speakers in living room, 2 floor standing locations in dining room.
Run speaker cable to kitchen for ceiling mounted speakers.
I added an average of one double socket to his original proposed
socket allowance.
He is making up figure but indications are approx 1.8k on top of
the 5.7k original allowance. House is 2 storey, 2700sq ft plus garage.
He said 500Euro within that 1.8k approx is accounted by wiring for
alarm.
It sounds reasonable to me. Anyone have a feel for going rates,etc?
