Electrician costs?

A friend of ours has done a good bit of electrical work in our kitchen, 5 double sockets, an oven and hob switch, a TV socket, 10 spot lights and changed light switches to dimmers and removed old wiring from oven switch and two sockets. My husband carried out the all tracing on the walls and we bought the switches ect. He doesn’t want anything for this work but we want to pay him or give him a voucher. What would an electrician charge for all this work because we wouldn’t have a clue.

Hi i'd give him about 300 euro or get him a voucher of topgifts.ie.

I would have charged about 500 euro for labour.

To call an electrician out each of those spotlights would have cost €50 each alone (parts and labour) but seeing as it is a nixer I would give him €400 - €500 for the lot.
