Having spent a fair amount of money recently on dental treatment I bought
an electric toothbrush to try to protect my investment. They come with a charger that has a 2 pin shaver type plug-but in my case the shaver socket is too high and the thing dangles in mid air.
Anyone with electrical knowledge see any problem about cutting off this plug and replacing it with an ordinary 3 pin?
As long as the charger supports 110 - 240 volts it shouldn't make any difference. It might be handier to get a 3-pin to 2-pin shaver socket converter plug for a few Euro or maybe even put a corner shelf in the bathroom, near the shaver socket, on which to rest the charger.
