El Bulli

Has anyone ever managed to secure a reservation at El Bulli restaurant, north of Barcelona? If so, can you let me know the best way to go about doing that (plus if you thought the meal was a wonderful experience?).

I understand the bookings open at some date (in October) but that the year's reservations are all gone within the first day (or something like that). Many thanks.

I did hear that even Bill Gates couldn't get a table there - so what hope for us mere mortals.
