I hope some body can help me here.
I ordered tyres from eiretyre web site and I gave my credit card. I got tyres from them I assumed that they have received the payment.
But afterwards when I got email from them that they have not got the money I rang their help desk twice and asked if there was any problem charging my credit card and I offered if you would like to use any other credit card. The person on the other side that he will call me back
I didn't get any calls on that day and I called their office next day and this time I was speaking to a girl and she said that you don't need to worry anything. If I have received tyres then we (this web site) have got the money.
So I forgot everything and now I got letter from debt collector company in Germany asking for money + extra 50 euros
1. Is it my problem that web site are not able to charge me?
2. Why did they send me tyres if they had a problem?
3. what are my rights in this case ?
4. How should I contact in Ireland regarding this ?
