Forgive a newcomer if this has already been discussed, but I have a problem with the way Eircom are operating their "talktime anytime UK" package.

They clearly state that all calls to "UK Landlines" are included. Then they charge for calls to numbers like 0800, 0845, 0836 in the UK - frequently the only numbers you can call organisations on (and they are not in any sense premium numbers). These are landlines - but Eircom call them "non-geographic landlines" when you ask why you are being charged extra.

But there's still no provision to charge extra for calls to "non-geographic landlines" in their contractual terms - let alone their advertising.

Is anyone else affected by this?
