Eircom router weak wireless signal

Does anyone know how I can strengthen the signal from an Eircom Netopia router? I used to have an older model and it was better but Eircom changed it recently and connection is intermittent at best.

Any ideas would be really appreciated!

For anyone who has the same problem, I've found a great solution to it. It's an Ethernet Powerline Adapter. Works a treat using the electrical circuit in the house/office.
