I moved my landline from Eircom to BT in late 2006. My latest bill from BT inlcudes a charge for an Eircom Net flat rate internet subscription which I had with Eircom. Eircom tells me that they did not cancel it as they are a separate co to Eircom Net. (they are well able to bill and sell together).
The flat rate subscription looks cancelled on my last bill. I am pursuing the matter with both companies and with ComReg. Anyone moving phone - be warned of these sneaky charges.
