Edinburgh - B&B/Hotels?

Hi,

A friend is looking for recommendations for either a hotel or B&B/guesthouse to stay in in Edinburgh City Centre? Price flexible.

Any ideas?

hi we stayed at the Ardenlee B n B a 15 walk to the centre, found it grand, big room with tea/coffee, hairdryer, tv, good brekkie and possibly the best shower ever. Nice pub, Clarks, just across the road for the wee drink before bedtime! Oh and nice cup of tea when we arrived pretty exhausted after an early flight.

I have stayed in the IBIS just off the Royal Mile. It's in a great location, quite reasonable and I would have no problems recommending it.

Self catering is also an option to consider as stayed in a lovely apartment which slept 4 and we paid £85 each altogether for 5 days

Jurys Inn is less than a 5 minute walk from the centre
