Activated online banking for my EBS current account which I had never used before. It's quite clunky and it lacks an app but it's fairly intuitive. The website works on a mobile phone screen but it requires a lot of zooming in as there is no mobile optimized version. Adding beneficiaries takes one working day. The two-level security system is a little annoying as basically every interaction has to be confirmed both by entering a pin and confirming a push notification sent through a security app that needs to be downloaded separately on a mobile phone. The big draw is that it is the only completely free Irish-based current account at the moment. However, it's owned by AIB and I suspect they might start charging once KBC has left.
