I was looking at a few eBay sniper options and noticed this free one called Gixen.

It states here on their site;

Has anyone here used this site?

How would you feel about providing your eBay username and password? Thanks

But seriously, might want to clarify what an eBay "sniper" does! From the title I thought you were Sharon Collins !
 


eBay sniper software allows the user to "snipe" or bid within seconds of the end of an eBay auction without having to wait 'til near the end of the sale and do this manually.
 
They all need to know your eBay username and password, so there's an unavoidable issue of trust. Certain sites get a good press from the European Commissioner here, though.

I've used justsnipe and bidtamer without any issues so far.
 
I've used a few of the sniping services in the past and they saved me a fair bit of money. The one that worked the best for me was Bid Burglar:
