easter break suggestions

Looking for a nice place for a short break with the wife and 2 year old with an hour or 2 from Fublin. Any suggestion?

A bit if activity woulnt go amiss, would like the little chap to see something new

I was thinking about going away this Friday and came across this hotel in Monaghan http://www.hillgrovehotel.com/offers_last_minute.htm
It has a kids club and good reviews on tripadvisor.

How about Kilkenny?

Stay at Ormonde Hotel, 2 bed and breakfast and one dinner ,2 kids under 12 stay free b and b, full use of leisure facilities .

Just across the road from the Castle,and the park with playground,near train station,and right in the centre of the city.

Cost of 2 nights 240e total.

No connection with the Ormonde,just been to many functions there and its great.
