Easter 2008

Has anyone noticed that Easter Sunday in 2008 is in March - the 23rd.

Ash Wednesday is 6th Feb.

We'll be barely out of New Year when the Eggs will be on the shelves. Barely out of St. Patrick's weekend and another holiday.

My mother died on Good Friday March 24rh in 1989 which means Easter Sunday was on 26th March that year. Not much difference to 2008.

How do they work out easter sunday every year, you would think it would be say for eg the first Sunday in April every year,

First Sunday after the 1st full moon after the 21st of March = Easter Sunday. Have no idea of why, just remember learning that in school!!

If you're talking about the small creme eggs they're on sale all year round.

I think the earliest Easter Sunday can be is March 22nd and the latest is April 24th.
