hi, i got otoplasty done a few months ago while in australia. the operation itself was a doddle really, went in in the morning and was out after lunch, had to wear a tight headbandage for a week which was long enough. in my case, im afraid it didnt turn out as i would have liked. the ears were brought in a bit but not enough. this was simply down to the surgeon not pulling them in tight enough. all i would say is if your thinking of getting it done dont worry about the op, just insist on the surgeon doing it the way you want it, in my case, in tighter.its your money at the end of the day.my experience was'ent all bad , there is an improvement but i just wish he had pulled them in that bit extra. hope this helps
