Recently I have received emails from my own email address. They are usually from America. What is the problem here?

Probably just spam. The originator address details could be spoofed. You'd need to look at the raw headers for the message to know. For example - in Outlook Express right click on an message in your Inbox or other folder, choose Properties -> Details to see the raw message headers and Message Source... to see the raw contents of the message. From this you may be able to see some clues. It's not always easy to see the raw message content in other email client applications. There may also be online email/email header checkers/analysers which help explain the actual origin of and other issues with specific messages.
