Hi,

I have a commercial Land Rover and i'm being charged €4.50 on the M50 and have been charged €3.80 and €2.80 on the M1.

When I called the M50, they said I should be charged €3.50 and I need to get onto the Motor Tax Office in Shannon to dispute what the commercial is registered under. They said the M1 is nothing to do with them (strange as the invoice is for both)

Has anyone else had this problem?
Would I be due credit due to a probable fault by Shannon?
I know people who have commercial vans and pay €3.50

ps. Tried calling Shannon Motor Tax at least 15 times in the last 6 months and can't get through after holding for 45 minutes!!!!
Can you email them for a response?

Thanks!! ;)

Is the unladen weight of your vehicle over 2000Kg?This would be on your vlc.If so,then you are charged as a medium goods vehicle instead of say a transit which is a light goods vehicle. You can check on www.e-flow.ie for the latest rates.
