DVD-r v DVD+R Difference & where to buy

hey

So only starting burning dvd films recently.Bought Octron dvd-r from local Lidl store and worked a treat

What is the difference between DVD-r and DVD+R ? Checked them out and the + are much higher in price??

What is the best to buy and where ? Checked out some PC store on Claredon street off Grafton Street and about €14 for 10 dvd-r anywhere better ? Have not tried Peats

Just different standards. Shouldn't make much of a difference when playing back on PC's but you might want to look up your DVD player here to see what formats it can take.

8.91 for 25 dvd-r's but the postage (Eur10) has to be taken into account so the more you buy the less relevant it is...
