We were on holidays in France last wek and on Thursday I used my visa credit card twice in monoprix - same branch. I was checking my account this morning and both transactions have been posted twice. I rang visa who say I should contact monoprix and advise them of this and request that they be reversed. Is this the correct proedure? Or should visa do a chargeback?
They have both posted - twice.
I will email Monoprix in English and hope that will suffice....
I am sure I am not the only customer affected so maybe they will be reversed without any hassle...
