On Saturday, we're driving to North East Donegal (aka Inishowen), from Dublin, via Monaghan, Omagh & Derry. In the past we have usually stopped in Aughnacloy to break the journey / bite to eat. The place we usually go is 'fine' but I wouldn't mind trying somewhere else, between Monaghan and Omagh, to stop off.
Any recommendations ?
Monaghan is (IMHO) too early in the journey to stop off, and Omagh is too late, and, since both are bypassed, I'd prefer to not have to divert off the route.
