Hi guys

I need to pick some brains!.....I switched from Eircom to BT over a year ago, and got set up last year on broadband. It worked, but had endless service problems with BT over billing etc. Their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered, hold times of 20 mins , failure to deal with simple queries etc. Its been a six month nightmare trying to solve simple queries.

Anyhow decided to change, but really have been bamboozled by the number of service providers. Also, I 've found that many wireless internet providers have not got their act together for broadband in north dublin city.

Any suggestions ?

Try digiweb for heavy users and utv for light users although I hear UTV customer service is gone like BT always has been.

you can transfer with no loss of service if you fill out a transfer form .

Have a look at Boards.ie head to the comms forum - lots info.

I recently dealt with Clearwire broadband and found them excellent and helpful. The salesperson I dealt with was named Alan @ 086 3999 9000. If in the Dublin area give him a call and he may be able to sort you out.
