Dublin 1 or 2 party venue

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a party venue for our staff Christmas Party that we will hold in January. Ideally Dublin centre where we can have a good meal (about 65-70 people) and have a live band afterwards. I would greatly appreciate venue and band suggestions please. Thanks a lot.

Try O'Dwyers on Mount St - it's been revamped in past few years and has a nice spot downstairs with a bar & dancefloor that can be reserved for private parties. I've been 2 a few work dos there and always enjoyed the night.
 
thanks, any other suggestions most welcome please, am in a bit of a panic trying to secure a venue.

I was at a function in the Guinness Storehouse some months ago that culminated in spending the evening in the Gravity Bar. Check it out. I don't kknow whether the caterers were external or are part of the team there. I don't think the venue is all that expensive. They coin it on the bar sales. The views at night just get better and better with every pint!
