Hi just wondering which airlines if any fly direct from dublin to dubai also any feedback on what dubai in february would be like for a 5 or 6 day break would be a help.
No more direct scheduled flights from Dublin to Dubai since Aer Lingus terminated the route. Etihad fly Dublin - Abu Dhabi which isn't that far away at all (do-able in a taxi .. under an hours drive)
Other than that you're looking at going via some other European airport
I did see in the paper over the weekend United Travel advertising charters over Christmas to Dubai .. might be worth checking with them to see if they've anything going.
The weather is quite all right in Feb there. Temperature is usually in mid-20's, sunbathing is good enough between 11 and 3p.m. Evenings are quite cool (light jacket needed). Pools are heated practically everywhere. There is a LOT to do and see in Dubai, so everybody can find something to his liking. However, considering the length and cost of the flight, you might look into the length of your stay there (6 days is not really a lot, imo)
