Dryer Ratings

I know the washing line is better but the wife wants a tumble dryer!

Is there such a thing as an A energy rated one on the Irish market or are they all C rated? If there is where would I get one?

the one with the inbuilt hose i think is called condenser is more expensive to operate

my sister has the one that needs the hose connection running out in the garden shed, keeps the dog warm! and cheaper to run

AEG have an 'A' rated dryer...I think that its the only one on the market at the moment and it costs about €850. I am not surprised your wife wants a dryer - with the amount of rain that has fallen over the last few weeks, it has been impossible to dry clothes outside.
