Hi, hoping someone can give me some advice. I left a pair of curtains in to be dry cleaned, and they did warn me that damage to the lining could occur and got me to sign a waiver. A few hours later I got a phonecall to advise that the lining had indeed completely warped. I've to go and see the manager on Monday and her perspective seems to be that I should go back to Next where I bought them and that she would give me a letter for them basically blaming the design of Next's curtains, and that they would hand over a refund. Just wondering where I stand on this? Will the dry cleaners still expect me to pay for their service and claim it back from Next, and how do I know that the damage is down to the curtains and not the dry cleaners? Has anyone any experience of trying to get a refund from a retailer for this, are they usually helpful?
Hoping someone can help
Thanks
