Dry Cleaners

Hi

Are Dry cleaners regulated? I just left three ordinary dresses in to be cleaned and they cost €12 each. I was shocked at the cost - this seems very expensive - I know I should have took them back, but washing some fabrics ruins them. there was an offer 5 items for €25 but again - only one of these items could be a coat or a dress!!!

A dry cleaner can charge whatever they choose, you really do have to shop around. Personally I think €12 for a dress is cheap, I pay €16-30 (Dublin) depending on the dress.
