Hi all
I am a little annoyed over an incident that happened this morning (only a small things considering everything but......
I left in my 3 items (2 dresses and a short jacket) into a dry cleaners which had been doing an offer of 3 items for the price of 2. I noticed the offer was not on display and mentioned it to the guy on the desk. He said the offer was over and that there were doing an offer of 5 for €25. BUT he said he would do the 3 items for €24. I said god thats great but unfortunately did not pay for it there and then which in hindsight I should have
I went in this morning to collect them and there was a young girl there who lets just say, smiling did not seem to come naturally. She left the items on the counter and said €30 - I told her about the conversation that I had when I dropped them in and she said she had to ring the boss. I said no problem. To make a long story short (and it was a long conversation between the girla nd her boss) I was told it was still €30 that he should not have given me that price. I was very annoyed after being told a different price and said to the girl to tell her boss that I would not be back again - The girl was very rude and said its not her fault and thats fine - don't bother coming back.
Now, I was annoyed - fair enough but to get charged €6 more and then be treated like crap from the drycleaners girl really put salt into the wounds to be honest.
I know its only €6 - am I being a bit silly about it? I work in retail and would never speak to any customer like that!
