dropdown breakfast bar?

My new kitchen isn't big enough for a table & chairs & I know I won't always eat in the adjoining dining room so I was thinking of a collapsable breakfast bar along 1 wall (to make a U shape adjoining the presses). I imagine something fixed to the wall with a hinge. I know these come attached to islands but is it possible to get one on it's own and attach to the wall? or am I dreaming?!

A decent carpenter/cabinet maker should sort something out for you. I've never spotted an off-the-shelf solution.

I'm sure I've seen something like this in IKEA. Have a look at their catalogue online. You may be able to order it for delivery. I believe one of their stores delivers to Ireland...
