Driving Test in Swords

Hey, has anyone done their driving test in swords and if so where did you apply to? i know the sgs centre does it there but you can't apply directly to them, it has to go through the RSA and there is no centre for swords as this is only a sub one, so i don't know what test centre to apply to and request swords, thanks
 
Hello....

You have to apply for Raheny and you might get a choice of RSA Raheny, SGS Swords, SGS Ballymun, or SGS Clonsaugh

As far as I'm aware if you get a SGS center you can change it to Swords
 
A friend of mine has requested Raheney for the driving test and he was allocated to Swords.
So - posting #2 above seems to make a lot of sense.

Any particular reason for selecting Swords? Or is it just convenient?
 
just thats its the closest to me and i'm very familiar with the roads so that should help me:)
 
So go for Raheny!
And when you receive your driving test appointment letter back they will ask you to confirm that you are happy with date and site. At that stage you can contact them again (phone them: it's more direct) and either confirm that you are happy or go for a different choice of date and site.
