I am looking for advice/price guidelines on getting my driveway done. The house is an end of terrace with a garage and currently only has space for 1 car, although, it has potential to fit 3 cars and still have a grass area and path/steps up to the house. The driveway is on quite a big upward slope so we will have to get it dug out to make it even. We'll be converting the garage next year so we don't need to keep the slope leading to it. We're not fussed on concrete or tarmac and don't want anything fancy. Just cheap & cheerful. My other half wants to do it himself but I'm worried he might burst water/gas pipes when he uses the digger! Any ideas?
