Drawing down mortgage and buying something on credit

Hi, hope Ive posted this in the correct forum....dont think the title explains my query either.....apologies if not!

Ive bought a house and will be moving in Aug/Sept. My broker advised me not to take out any loans until after I draw down the mortgage as otherwise it could affect my loan. I want to purchase a suite of furniture from a shop offering 1 year to pay. Im wondering if I do this will this be considered as a loan? even though I dont have to pay anything for a year?? My reason for buying now is that is will take approx 10 - 12 weeks for delivery.

If your mortgage offer has issued it means that the credit checks have been done so you should be OK - lenders very, very rarely carry out any further checks post offer.
