Draughty floorboards

We have an old house and have sanded the original floorboards downstairs which look great. Problem is there is nothing underneath them (except mud) and as there are gaps between the floor boards they is a big problem with insulation.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem i.e. fillers that can be used to seal the gaps. We don't really want to cover the boards with new boards or carpet.
