Draughty Doors

When i have heating + fire on in mm sitting room, if i run my hand along my sitting room door can feel cold air blowing in all around the outside of door..Does this mean the door was not properly put on?Or is this standard? Is there anyway to reduce or eliminate these draughts#?

Seems to be a common occurence (I've got draughts too). I saw the TG4 program "teach glas" on Tuesday dealing with internal door draughts - the guy got stick-on insulation strips and put them on the top & side of door frame, and a screw-on brush strip for the bottom of the door. Available at most DIY shops.
