L Lauraq Guest 3 Jan 2008 #1 Can anyone tell me how to Drain Kerosene from a plastic oil tank. Have recently changed over to gas and I want to get rid of the tank from my garden. There is about a foot of kerosene left which i plan on giving to my neighbour if i can drain it.

J JackTheKnife Registered User Messages 20 3 Jan 2008 #2 There should be a flow valve at the tank which can be turned on and off. Cut the pipe that feeds the burner just after the valve and away you go.
