Drain problem 15 year build

Hello, previously I had my gutters and gutter drains cleaned by a local handyman but yesterday being unable to afford a handyman or a weekend away, I did it myself. On one drain the water is settled high in the gully trap & there is a large gap above the plastic gulley trap and the plastic piece on which is located the drain grill. although the two pieces are square they are not lined up and are rotated 45 degrees. I have a crack in the wall nearest to this drain and I suspect that the water is draining through this crack and under the foundation of the house and a near concrete shed, built on a slab, which started leaning over and cracking 2/3 years ago and will now need demolition. This is part of a large extension built by a contractor 15 years ago and supervised by an architect. Do I have any claim on the architect or builder for this blatant bad workmanship? p.s I do not have house insurance but from previous posts insurance will not cover subsidence due to drainage problems!
