Does anyone know of a free download manager that will download a site for offline browsing but will also take non-html links like txts and pdfs?
Ive tried a couple of download managers which both use html spiders to recreate a site on my client but will only take non-html links if I browse to that folder on the site and specifically take them. The bigger downside with doing that is that if I take a txt file down, its not linked in the downloaded site html.
eg.
site http://www.site.com
downloaded site =
c:\downloaded\www.site.com
If the index.htm on that site has a txt file linked then when I go to open it on from c:\downloaded\www.site.com\file.txt its still linked to http://www.site.com
