How important is it to have vents so as to avoid any possible danger from carbon monoxide poisoning?

Ventilation in a room is very important , it does not have to be in the windows but could be wall vents. Even with ventilation it is still advisable to have a monoxide alarm. If you have a fire in the room you must have ventilation.
