Hi
Had an energy survey done couple of months back.
One of the obvious findings were the majority of the house interior is plasterboard directly bonded to the cavity block wall.
Apparently this method has no thermal properties what so ever and was just the quick way of doing it when the house was built back in 2011 and gives no thermal or sound insulation.
As part of air tightness I'm doing now , I'm wondering how to proceed.
Would it be extremely expensive to strip back the walls and get rooms redone one by one over time.?
Was platerboard on block wall common back in 2011?
Thanks
