Dorrins Strand, Sligo

Does anyone know of any info on Dorrins Strand in Strandhill, Sligo. Was looking at houses there, but there seems to be a lot of sold signs on most houses, but yet only 2 or 3 (in the whole estate) are lived in & rest almost finished - been like this for 9 or 10 months.

Strandhill is a nice area. I am not familiar with that estate but I know of another estate in the County where the exact same thing thing has happened but locals are now questioning the validity of the "sold" signs. Still no sign of anybody moving into the houses which apparently are finished.

Expect the unsold houses from many developers to arrive on the rental market where prices are dropping. I have given my firsthand experience of this on another thread

The problem I believe is that the houses cannot be occupied until the local sewage treatment plant has been upgraded as it is currently ot full capacity
The only houses occupied are for those whose origonal houses were demolished to make way for the scheme
