Door module in ford focus

Hi guys hope someone can help me. I got into the car (2006 focus) the other night and it was displaying drivers door open but it was shut properly, then when I got home the car would not lock even when I tried it manually. My wife rang me the day after and said the electric windows aren't working either. I did some research and I think it's the door module so I took the door panel of but it's not there. Does any one know where the door module is actually located.

You might try a door module reset as documented here first. I believe it can work http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/64890-reset-door-module/

There is a suggestion on another site (can't find it) that you can initialise the door modules by removing and replacing the fuses from the central fuse-box. This may be documented in the owner's manual in the bit that deals with jump starting / flat battery.
