Don't you just love cats!

The reason this made the news is that it was unusual behaviour. A dog doing the same thing is normal.

I'm not really a cat person, but they seem to take over my space.

I have a new family of 2 kittens in the back garden, and another stray kitten that loves my front door mat.

I don't feed them. But they probably do a good job in eradicating mice and so they can stay.
