Donation to charity - tax situation?

Hi there,

I have not had a bad year and would like to donate come money to Charity from my company account. Is there a tax liability on this money to myself? I have searched the forums and am unable to find anything.... could only find stuff on paying to charity with money that tax has already been paid on....not directly out of a limited company account.

Any donation to a registered chariy of over €250 is tax deductible for a company with no repercussions on you
