Dollar accounts

Not 100% sure about the BOI.. If you opened one, then I guess the answer to the OP's question is yes.. There's no info on their web site about it, Perhaps if you call into your local branch or phone them..
 
Going to sell some shares I have and may keep the payment in dollars witha view to getting a better exchange rate.....what are peoples views on the direction of the dollar/euro rate?
 
Thinking about this very question at the moment myself. Would be interested in having a dollar account, and I assume that you can transfer the funds to US companies instead of incuring exchange rates.
