Dole offices closed to today - when to sign on

Hi. I'm sure you know about the [broken link removed] today.
I went to the dole office today to sign on, but it was closed due to the strike. There was a notice on the door saying that the office was closed, but no instructions about what to do if you were meant to sign-on.

I can't find any information about what to do? Does anyone know? Is the sign-on date completely cancelled, will another one be assigned, or should I go in tomorrow and get a ticket for Hatch 3 to prevent them from deducting payments?

Thanks.

There's nothing useful on the social welfare website that I can find. RTE news says "A spokeswoman said people who were due to sign on at the local offices have been given an alternative appointment." (taken from this link http://www.rte.ie/news/2009/0226/pension.html).

I would take it that another one is supposed to be assigned, but in the absence of further info maybe you should call them tomorrow.

Very lax of the managers, I must say: there should at the very least have been information available for people needing to sign on.

I would be there tomorrow to try and sort this out.
Yeah that's what I obviously have to do in absence of any other info.

I did read the RTE reports - and others, but I certainly can't find any information about this other appointment. Thx for answering though guys.
