A friend of mine was at a market in Dublin about 3 weeks ago and came across a Kerry Blue Dog for Sale at a stall. She was asked €100 for the dog. She said she would give him €50 so he agreed. She brought the dog home and wash and groom him. She brought it to a vet friend the next day to check if it a micro chip which it didn't but through some contacts the vet had they found the dog's owner. The dog had being stolen. Dog and owner have now being reunited.

I would always be wary of buying any animal from a stall, tend to encourage puppy farming, as opposed to caring breeders.

She only bought the dog to save it as she know from the people that were selling it that it wasn't theirs to sell and lucky she did because she managed to get it reunited with its owners.

I think its against the law to sell live animals like that at markets, etc. Maybe a word to the ISPCA?
