Does Motorhome require DOE test? New regulation?

I brought my motorhome to a commercial testing station for an engineers report as required by the insurance company and the guy advised that as 14th August 2007 all motorhomes required a DOE test. Can anyone confirm this? I have searched web without success. Thanks.

a doe guy would be more knowledgeable than anyone here

ps i forgot to say that a doe test is nothing to worry about. if its roadworthy , itll pass. if its got any problems, the doe centre can do the repairs for you , guaranteeing a pass. its amuch better system than the stupid nct
