Can't get a proper answer from anyone on this.
Partner works for HSE and is on her 4th fixed term contract which is valid until May 2012. After this she is entitled to be made permanent. As far as i am aware the average number of hours worked on this contract is the number of hours given in the permanent contact.
My partner is due to go off on maternity leave in the middle of August. Can anybody advise how will 26 weeks of maternity leave affect her permanent contact hours?
