None of the Banks in Ireland in the Euro currency will call for direct debits on a bank holiday. Money can not move when there is a bank holiday in that country.
The most likely thing to happen will be they request the money on the next banking day, Tuesday.
You can transfer money from current accounts to savings accounts if the account is in the same bank. If you send a standing order to another bank it will be processed on the next business day too.
